October 6th- The girls all met Stinkerbelle and learned about animal shelters. We discussed what is meant by the phrase "puppy mill" and some of the ways that animals become homeless. We read the book, "Before You Were Mine" by Maribeth Boelts, then everyone wrote a recommendation for Stinkerbelle.
