Cat Sponsorship Program

With a $20 per month tax-deductible donation, you can sponsor a cat through our Cat Sponsor Program. Twenty dollars a month goes a long way to support the needs of a shelter animal.

This program gives you the opportunity to sponsor the shelter cat of your choice. Your sponsorship helps pay for food, litter, medical care, collars and toys. You may discontinue your sponsorship at any time without further obligation.

Sponsors receive a handsome Certificate of Sponsorship with a photo and description of your sponsored cat. You also receive a monthly Cat Sponsor newsletter with shelter updates and news. Our sponsors are proudly recognized in our quarterly shelter newsletter, "Pet Gazette". Of course, if you prefer to remain anonymous, we will honor your request.

How to Become a Sponsor:

Please contact the Central Texas SPCA at (512) 260-SPCA or email (attention: Sponsorship) with your name, mailing address and phone number. If you have a specific cat in mind that you would like to sponsor, please let us know. Otherwise, we will be happy to select one for you.

Dog Pen Pal Program

Would you like to sponsor a dog? Our Pen Pal Program gives you the opportunity to sponsor one of our indoor dog pens with a $20 per month tax-deductible donation. Over time, your sponsored pen will house many different and deserving dogs. Your sponsorship helps pay for food, medical care, collars and toys. You may discontinue your sponsorship at any time without further obligation.

Each month you will receive a sponsorship letter about your pen's current resident. As a Pen Pal you will also receive a Certificate of Sponsorship. Our sponsors are proudly recognized in our quarterly shelter newsletter, "Pet Gazette". Of course, if you prefer to remain anonymous, we will honor your request.

How to Become a Sponsor:

You may select a pen for a Large, Medium or Small sized dog. If you have a specific pen in mind that you would like to start with, please let us know. Otherwise, we will be happy to assign one to you.

Best Friends Program

The Central Texas SPCA does not receive any funding from state or local agencies, but operates on private donations. In order to meet the needs of the growing community and its homeless animal population, we have established a program called the BEST FRIENDS SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM. This is an effort to bring in regular, reliable income to help pay expenses (such as mortgage, utilities, etc.) as well as continue to provide food and medical attention for the animals.

The program is simple. It works as follows:

1. You pledge a monthly contribution amount.
2. We will send you a reminder notice each month along with a short newsletter updating you on shelter events.

The amount of your pledge can be changed at any time and, of course, you are under no obligation to continue to pay should you find yourself unable. Our Best Friends are proudly recognized in our quarterly shelter newsletter, "Pet Gazette". Of course, if you prefer to remain anonymous, we will honor your request.

To sign up: If you would like to become a Best Friend, call our shelter at 512-260-SPCA or email with your name and mailing address. We will send you an introductory letter at which time you can specify the amount of your contribution. It's as simple as that!

NEW! Business Sponsorship Program

Sponsoring an outdoor dog kennel or an indoor cat condo is a great way to show your commitment to helping homeless animals in your community and generate business at the same time! The funds from each $250 kennel sponsor will support the efforts of the CTSPCA, providing our pets with the quality care they deserve. In return, we offer a number of avenues to recognize this valuable commitment to our shelter. A plaque engraved with your name is hung on a kennel showing visitors from the community that you care. Also, recognition as a generous sponsor is posted on our website and included in our quarterly newsletter. You will receive a framed certificate for display at your business location. A business sponsorship is yours for an annual tax-deductible donation of $250. What a wonderful way to help save lives!
