Our Summer Humane Education group had the opportunity to spend the day with Bandit. The students learned about the shelter and looked at the website and pictures of dogs and cats currently at the shelter. The students then wrote recommendations for Bandit (posted below) and discussed the finances involved in dog ownership. This two-day group will end with the students creating their own list of pet ownership expenses on Microsoft Excel, then creating a PowerPoint presentation about what they have learned in our group!
